“I am a huge jeweler snob and have always purchased at my local trusted jewelry store. They are wonderful, but I know I am paying a huge markup. I had recently purchased pair of princess cut 1 carat studs from them and it made me curious about the quality of online diamond sellers, so I took a chance and ordered from Real Carat; another 1 carat pair of studs but this time emerald cut. I am really happy with the earrings. Absolutely beautiful stones that seem to be well set. I also greatly appreciate that I did receive the GIA certificates for both of my stones, something my local store will not hand over. I also was glad that the GIA numbers were clearly posted with each stone so I could research them and price compare with other diamond sellers. I even had a bit of a snafu where I was going to be out of town on my original delivery date and Rare Carat worked with me to ship them at a later date when I could receive them. All in all a really great experience and I will absolutely come back to Rare Carat for diamond purchases in the future.”

“The only issue I had was that I had ordered these well before Valentine’s day and wasn’t aware of the process of assembling the earrings from raw diamonds. My initial expected delivery date was after Valentine’s day which had me worried. Fortunately, they arrived the day before Valentine’s day, and my wife and I were both impressed with the quality of the earrings and the packaging. Just be aware that it can take a couple weeks to get them, so plan ahead.”

“I chose the 1/2 ct for my second lobe, my first love has 1 ct. The lab diamonds were a fourth of the price of natural diamonds, and the clarity is outstanding. The pair on my first lob are natural diamonds and you honestly can’t tell the difference. These are truly stunning in person. I definitely got the best value for my money here.”

“My first purchase with rare carat. Highly recommend on so many fronts. The quality and the price were better than any other local/online stores. Customer service was phenomenal and always responded within a few minutes. Packaging was beautiful. Just really well done. The only down side is the process does take a bit. The seller(s) have to ship to rare carat, then they are verified, then (in my case) the diamonds are put in the setting. Took about 3 weeks in total. So just make sure to plan. But totally worth it.”

“This was a good value on nice diamond stud earrings. My wife is happy with the upgrade and “bling” factor. I don’t think I would have been able to carefully select the stone quality for earrings in a traditional retail setting. The overall customer experience was excellent.
